General

We reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice.

Prices

The prices on our web site include VAT and are accurate at the time of publishing. However, situations may occur where prices are incorrectly quoted. In these situations you will be informed of the correct or revised price once your order has been received by us, and should you not wish to purchase the product at that price we will cancel that part of the order.

Payment

We accept debit and credit cards issued by Visa and Mastercard.

Order Confirmation

We will send you an email to acknowledge that we have received your order. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will send you a second email to confirm order acceptance or other status.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if:

  • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
  • The delivery service provider does not deliver to your area
  • One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers
  • We have reason to suspect there is a risk of a fraudulent transaction

Delivery Charges

Bicycle orders: Bicycles are delivered free of charge to all addresses within an approximate 20 mile radius of our shops. All our bikes are supplied fully assembled, safety checked, and ready to ride. At present we only deliver to these addresses.

All other orders: Delivery to UK mainland addresses is free for all accessory orders. Please note that charges apply to Highlands and Islands addresses (including Channel Isles). These will be confirmed by email when we acknowledge your order.

Delivery

Delivery of orders to UK addresses typically takes 2 - 6 working days from when the order is accepted. Every effort will be made to deliver the products as soon as possible after your order has been accepted however we will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this event, we will aim to inform you of any delay as soon as possible.

Should your parcel show signs of damage on receipt from the courier, please make a note of this on the courier’s documents and if possible take photographs of the damaged areas. This will assist in any claims which may occur at a later date.

Title to the goods will pass to you until upon delivery (either directly, or by leaving it in a safe place, or with a neighbour, as specified by you). Once an item has been delivered, the risk of damage to or loss of the item passes to you.

Back orders

Occasionally, the item you've ordered may be on back order from the supplier. If this is the case, you will be contacted by phone or email with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return the item(s) for an exchange or refund. All returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your order. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns or exchanges after the 14 day period.

You will be responsible for the shipping charges associated with sending the return back to us.

If you are requesting an exchange, we will send your replacement item(s) free of charge, subject to acceptance by Moore’s Cycles of your request. If the item(s) you request is not available when the return is processed, we will notify you via email. If you are asking for a refund, you will only be reimbursed for the item(s) returned. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

All returned items must be in the original condition in which you received them. For clothing items, we will not accept back worn or washed garments. If a worn or washed item is returned, the return will not be accepted.

Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy throughout this website, however it is accepted that manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications, features, prices and colours without prior notice.

Statutory rights

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Your right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order with us at any time up to 14 days after you receive the goods. To cancel your order within this time frame you must notify us in writing by email to sales@moorescycles.co.uk

Should you wish to cancel your order after the products have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost unless the goods are faulty. Please follow our returns procedure. You will be credited for the products within 30 days of receipt by us provided that the goods are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with original packaging.

Returns policy

If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or, if you wish, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost unless the goods are faulty.

Faulty product

In the unlikely event of you receiving a faulty product you should notify us in writing by email to sales@moorescycles.co.uk within 7 days of delivery. The goods should be returned to us in line with our returns policy detailed under 'Returns procedure' below. Once we have received the goods back we will verify the fault. If the fault is verified we will either:

  • Replace with the same item;
  • Refund in line with our refund policy.

If the goods you have returned are not found faulty the goods will be returned to you at your cost.

Wrong item delivered

If, by mistake we supply you with the incorrect item, you should notify us in writing by email to sales@moorescycles.co.uk within 7 days of delivery. The goods should be returned to us in line with our returns instructions, detailed under ‘Returns procedure’ below. Once we have received the goods back we will confirm that it is in fact an incorrect item and either:

  • Replace with the correct item;
  • Refund in line with our refund policy.

Extra items delivered

If, by mistake we supply you with extra items you must notify us immediately. Goods should be returned to us in line with the returns procedure, if you do not adhere to this procedure and are found to be in possession of goods that you have not paid for, you may be charged for the goods.

Refund policy

If you are eligible for a refund, we will refund the card used to pay for the original order. Please note that it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your card details i.e. you no longer have that account. We aim to process all eligible refunds within 7 working days from receipt of the returned goods, although the refund may take up to 21 days at the busiest times.

Returns procedure

For all returns, except where the item is faulty or we have delivered the wrong item, you will be required to pay for the cost of the return of the products to us.

To return any products to us, please enclose your details with the product and clearly mark whether you would like a refund or exchange. Pack the items carefully with your completed returns information and send it back to us:

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
